Who do we help/Scope of operations

The VITA program has operated for over 50 years, offering free assistance with federal income taxes for U.S. citizen and resident alien taxpayers with relatively uncomplicated tax returns:

  • Who earn $57,000 or less,
  • Are persons with disabilities, or
  • Have limited English-speaking ability.
  • Foreign students and teachers who need to file a Form 1040-NR, is currently not within our scope of service.

What do we do

We help low-income individuals in the community file their taxes for free! Those individuals include students and residents in and around the Pullman area.

We assist taxpayers as they file their taxes and answer general questions.
